This Privacy Policy explains how Fun Spirit Games Pte. Ltd. ("Fun Spirit Games", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the City Wanderer mobile application ("City Wanderer" or the "App").
Fun Spirit Games Pte. Ltd. is a company registered in Singapore and is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
City Wanderer is designed around privacy-conscious local storage. Your recorded routes, exploration progress, and location history are stored locally on your device by default. Premium users may also use cloud backup and synchronization through their personal iCloud or Google Drive account.
We do not require users to create a City Wanderer account, and we do not ask users to provide their name, email address, phone number, postal address, or payment card details in order to use the App.
However, some information processed by the App or by third-party service providers, including location information, technical identifiers, analytics data, diagnostic information, and purchase history, may constitute personal data under applicable law.
City Wanderer uses precise device location to provide its core functionality.
This may include:
GPS coordinates;
movement and route information;
recorded walks;
location history associated with recorded routes;
revealed map areas and exploration progress; and
related information needed to calculate and display your progress.
Location information is used to reveal areas of the map you have visited and to record routes that you choose to track.
When you start an active route-tracking session, City Wanderer may continue accessing your location while the App is in the background or while your device is locked. Background location access is used to continue recording the route until the tracking session is ended.
Access to device location is controlled through the permissions provided by your operating system. You may change location permissions through your device settings, although restricting location access may prevent some or all core City Wanderer features from working correctly.
Your recorded routes and City Wanderer location history are not stored on servers operated by Fun Spirit Games Pte. Ltd.
Premium users may use cloud backup and synchronization features to save and restore City Wanderer data.
On supported Apple devices, City Wanderer stores backup data using the user's iCloud account through the App's iCloud container.
On supported Android devices, City Wanderer uses Google Drive with limited access to files created by or specifically authorized for use with City Wanderer. The App does not receive general access to all files in the user's Google Drive.
Cloud backups may include information such as:
recorded routes and location history;
revealed map areas;
exploration progress;
saved locations;
App preferences and settings; and
other City Wanderer data necessary to back up, synchronize, or restore the user's progress.
These backups are stored through the user's Apple or Google account and are not stored on servers operated by Fun Spirit Games Pte. Ltd.
City Wanderer accesses cloud backup data only as necessary to create, update, synchronize, or restore App data.
The availability, security, retention, and operation of the underlying cloud service are also subject to the applicable terms and privacy practices of Apple or Google.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with City Wanderer and to improve the App.
Depending on the device and operating environment, Google Analytics for Firebase may process information such as:
App opens and sessions;
screens viewed and interactions with App features;
App version;
device type and operating system information;
installation or app-instance identifiers;
general technical information; and
purchase or subscription events where automatically reported by the platform or SDK.
We do not intentionally send precise GPS coordinates, recorded routes, location history, revealed map areas, saved locations, or other City Wanderer exploration data to Google Analytics for Firebase.
Google may process network information and derive general geographic information as part of the standard operation of its analytics services.
We do not use Firebase Analytics data for advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.
We use Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to identify crashes, errors, and stability problems.
Crashlytics may process information such as:
crash reports and stack traces;
information about the state of the App when a crash occurred;
device and operating system information;
App version and technical configuration;
installation identifiers; and
App activity or analytics breadcrumbs immediately preceding a crash.
We do not intentionally include precise location data, recorded routes, saved locations, or City Wanderer exploration history in Crashlytics reports, custom diagnostic information, or crash logs.
This information is used to diagnose technical problems and improve the stability and reliability of City Wanderer.
City Wanderer uses Mapbox to provide map functionality.
Mapbox's mobile SDK may collect de-identified location and usage telemetry when location functionality is used. Mapbox describes this telemetry as being used to operate and improve its maps and services.
We do not use Mapbox telemetry for advertising.
Where Mapbox Telemetry is enabled, users may access the Mapbox telemetry opt-out through the Mapbox attribution and privacy controls provided in the App.
Mapbox processes information according to its own privacy practices.
City Wanderer offers Premium features through subscriptions and one-time purchases.
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the platform used to make the purchase.
We do not receive or store your full payment card number, bank account information, or other complete payment credentials.
We use RevenueCat to manage purchases and Premium entitlements. RevenueCat may process information such as:
an app-specific user or installation identifier;
products purchased;
purchase and subscription status;
transaction history;
Apple purchase receipts;
Google Play purchase tokens;
entitlement status;
time of purchase or last App use; and
technical information necessary to operate the purchase-management service.
We use this information to validate purchases, restore purchases, determine whether Premium access is active, and manage subscription entitlements.
We process information for the following purposes:
to provide route recording and map exploration features;
to reveal locations and areas visited by the user;
to continue an active route-tracking session in the background;
to provide Premium cloud backup and synchronization;
to restore user data on supported devices;
to process, validate, and restore Premium purchases;
to determine subscription and Premium entitlement status;
to understand how City Wanderer is used;
to diagnose crashes and technical problems;
to improve performance, reliability, usability, and features;
to protect the App against misuse and technical abuse;
to comply with applicable legal obligations; and
to respond to privacy or support requests.
We do not use recorded routes or precise location history for advertising.
We do not sell personal data.
We do not use personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where applicable data protection law requires us to identify a legal basis for processing, including under the GDPR or UK GDPR, we rely on one or more of the following bases depending on the processing involved:
Performance of a contract: where processing is necessary to provide City Wanderer features requested by you, including route tracking, Premium functionality, cloud backup, purchase validation, and restoration of purchases.
Consent: where your consent is required, including through operating-system permission controls or other consent mechanisms required by applicable law. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent, although doing so may prevent certain features from functioning.
Legitimate interests: where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, analyze, troubleshoot, and improve City Wanderer, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Legal obligations: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, accounting obligations, or valid governmental requests.

These providers may process information in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies, and data-processing obligations.
City Wanderer's recorded routes, location history, exploration progress, revealed areas, and other core App data are stored locally on your device by default.
If you use Premium cloud backup or synchronization, copies of applicable App data may also be stored in your personal iCloud storage or in files accessible to City Wanderer through your Google Drive account.
Fun Spirit Games Pte. Ltd. does not operate servers that store users' recorded route history, exploration history, or cloud backups.
Analytics, diagnostics, Mapbox telemetry, and purchase-related information are processed separately by the third-party services described in this Privacy Policy.
Locally stored City Wanderer data remains on your device until it is deleted using available App functionality, removed by the operating system, or removed when the App is uninstalled.
Uninstalling City Wanderer does not necessarily delete copies of App data stored in your iCloud or Google Drive account.
Cloud backup data may remain in the applicable cloud service until it is deleted through City Wanderer, through the applicable cloud provider, or otherwise according to the provider's storage and retention rules.
Purchase and subscription records maintained by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may remain after City Wanderer is uninstalled where necessary for purchase restoration, subscription management, transaction records, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or other legitimate purposes.
Analytics and diagnostic information is retained according to our configuration and the applicable retention practices of Google, Mapbox, RevenueCat, Apple, and other relevant service providers.
You may contact us at privacy@funspiritgames.com if you wish to make a privacy or deletion request relating to information that we or our service providers process on our behalf.
Because City Wanderer does not require a user account, we may need additional information from you to identify records associated with your device or purchase.
Fun Spirit Games Pte. Ltd. is based in Singapore, and some of our service providers operate infrastructure in other countries.
As a result, information described in this Privacy Policy may be processed in countries outside your country of residence.
Where required by applicable law, international transfers are subject to appropriate legal and contractual safeguards provided by us or the relevant service provider.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:
request information about how your personal data is processed;
request access to personal data;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request deletion of personal data;
request restriction of certain processing;
object to certain processing;
request portability of certain information;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
lodge a complaint with an applicable data protection authority.
These rights may be subject to exceptions and limitations under applicable law.
Because much of your City Wanderer data is stored only on your device or in your own cloud storage, Fun Spirit Games Pte. Ltd. may not possess or have direct access to that data.

City Wanderer requires location access for its primary functionality.
The App only performs background route recording when location functionality requiring background access is active, such as when you have started a route-tracking session.
You can control City Wanderer's location permissions using your device settings.
Disabling location access may prevent route recording, map exploration, or other location-dependent features from working.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed in connection with City Wanderer.
No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device, Apple account, Google account, and other credentials used with services connected to City Wanderer.
City Wanderer is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
If you are a minor under the laws of your country, you should use City Wanderer only with the permission and, where appropriate, supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

City Wanderer may interact with services operated by third parties.
We do not control the privacy practices of third-party services. Their collection and use of information is governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable terms.
We encourage users to review the privacy policies of relevant third-party providers.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to City Wanderer, our service providers, legal requirements, or our data-processing practices.
When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and, where required by applicable law, provide additional notice within the App or through another appropriate method.
